Graduation
Diplomas
Actual diplomas will not be given during the graduation ceremony. Diplomas are usually available in late June from the high school office. Watch the local newspaper for announcements concerning the distribution off diplomas. With your diploma, you will receive a copy of the senior class composite.
All discipline, any attendance make up days and fees are required to be taken care of before diploma is released.
Inclement Weather
In the event of severe weather, graduation exercises will be relocated to the High School Gymnasium. Because of space limitations in the gym, seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating will also be available in the Performing Arts Center. In the PAC buildings, attendees will view graduation live through video streaming.
Composite Photo/ Senior Video
Senior composite pictures will be taken in October by Wagner Portrait Group. While it is mandatory for all students to have their picture taken, there is no obligation to purchase them. Wagner’s will send proofs to parents, providing the option to order picture packages or parents may orderonline. Retakes will be offered in November.
For these pictures, we have a specific dress code requirement. Senior boys are required to wear a collared shirt with a tie, and they may also wear a nice sweater over the shirt and tie. Polo shirts are not acceptable. For boys who forget or do not have a dress shirt or tie, we try to have some available on picture day. If you need to borrow a shirt, please inform Mrs. Ritter or Ms. Taylor ahead of time. Senior girls are asked to wear a shirt, dress, or sweater with a nice neckline. T-shirts, sweatshirts, or shirts with large lettering on the front are not acceptable.
Caps, Gowns and Announcements
Jostens will be in the high school library to distribute ordering information. All items are to be ordred online. Please make sure to meet ordering deadlines to avoid late charges. Cap, gowns and announcements will be delivered in early April.
