Our Administration
Tamitha Ritter is a graduate of Fair Grove. Mrs. Ritter earned her bachelor of science degree in agricultural education from Missouri State University in Springfield and then completed her master’s degree from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar. She also received her specialist degree in educational leadership from William Woods University.
She began her career as an agriculture teacher, FFA advisor, and then a biology teacher for the Pleasant Hope School District until moving into administration in 2008. She has served as principal at Lutie, Gainesville, and Fordland.
Married to her husband, Chuck, for 22 years, they have two sons, Thomas and Drew.
John Johnson is a former student of Ava High School and is a graduate of San Leandro High School. Mr. Johnson earned his bachelor of science degree in history from Drury University in Springfield and then completed his master’s degree in education administration from William Woods University.
He has worked at Ava R-I Public School District as a paraprofessional, a special education teacher, an alternative school director, a social studies teacher, an assistant middle school football coach, and an assistant principal.
Married to his wife, JaneĢe, they have six children:, Malori, Caleb, Joshua, Camryn, Mitchel, and Ava
